Advantages of Gas Impulse Voltage Generator
1. Gas impact test adopts armoured structure, which is small in size, occupies small area and has small space.
2. The impact body has compact structure, small circuit inductance and strong load capacity. With the load changing in a certain range, there is no need to adjust the resistance device. Easy to use.
3. The main body ignition device adopts Marx generator principle of military product, stage and stage ignition (field distortion principle, intermediate ignition). The gas switch keeps good insulation during the charging period of the generator capacitor; when the capacitor is charged to a set voltage, the gas switch is switched on quickly and cascaded into a standard lightning wave generator which generates a nominal voltage.
4. After rigorous test, the self-breakdown probability of gas switch is less than 1%. The error rate of impulse voltage generator is less than 5%, and the output voltage instability is less than 5%.
5. The switch is designed as trigger type. The first and second stage switches are triggered externally, while the other switches are triggered by inter-stage overvoltage.
