Application of [¹⁴C]3-O-Methyl-D-glucose ([¹⁴C]3OMG) can be found in: perfusion-independent effect of bradykinin and fosinoprilate on glucose transport in Langendorff rat hearts, phosphorylation of 3-O-methyl-D-glucose by yeast and beef hexokinase, prostanoid modulation of glucose transport in isolated diabetic rat uterus, effect of bioflavonoids on vincristine transport across blood–brain barrier, insulin down-regulating the Na+/K+ ATPase in enterocytes but increasing intestinal glucose absorption, etc.
