Ferrite output reactor for AC operating mechanisms
The special material characteristics of ferrite reactors allow them to be operated at higher converter output frequencies of up to 600 Hz. Using clock frequencies up to 16 kHz is possible. Output reactors compensate capacitive charge-reversal currents with long cables and with appropriay long motor cables, limit the dv/dt at the motor terminals.
This enables the use of longer motor supply cables.
Use of ferrite output reactors:
- Operating mechanisms with asynchronous motors and a rated motor frequency (field weakening frequency) of up to 200 Hz and a maximum frequency of 300 Hz
- Operating mechanisms with reluctance or permanently excited synchronous motors with a maximum frequency of 600 Hz.

Terminal covers for protection against inadvertent contact
with exposed bar connections (DIN VDE 0106 Part 100/EN 50274)
The covers are suitable for all reactors and filters with 1-hole flat connectors. Assignment of the covers to the reactors and filters can take via the connection hole diameter.
If no other information is provided in the technical specifications, touch protection for the backs of hands against unintentional contact with live components can be created according to BGV A2 by using the covers.
