這株細(xì)胞來源于轉(zhuǎn)基因小鼠中生長的一個胰腫瘤(胰島素瘤)。 這種小鼠攜帶了大鼠胰島素II基因啟動子調(diào)控的SV40早期基因的假基因結(jié)構(gòu)。 細(xì)胞包含豐富的胰島素和小量的胰高血糖素及*。 響應(yīng)葡萄糖而分泌胰島素[PubMed:7533732]。
